Trending?
I found some images of re-bar bikes as mentioned in my NAHBS posting, and had to share them. Seriously, except for the seat, the last one looks pretty cool. What do you think?

Interesting. Materials would be cheap. That might the wave of the future if the economy keeps heading in the direction it is.
That bike probably weighs 100 pounds! It would be a good workout to pedal that beast around for a day or two.
I think I would want to buy a top tube pad for that one.
I love those bikes! But yeah, you're right about the seat.
